I haven’t had a bottle of this before so I can’t talk about its evolutionary curve. But it’s pretty damn good right now. nose has lots of sweet humus (not hummus, people), baking spice, cola syrup, dark cherry extract. Intense in the mouth, it’s got no tannin left, and while the fruit is mature and subdued, there’s a low-toned sweetness that plays off the savory elements. Very nice.

Bottle variation to the max! This veered too far to the acidic for me.

This is $22?!? Tremendous richness yet elegance. Can't believe this clocks in at 14.8%.
