Dense purple. Orange peel and allspice notes in nose. Blackberry and blueberry flavors dominate, astringent. black pepper aftertaste from skin and seed tannins on front of tongue and top of palate. A tad woody for my taste

Mar 12th, 2018Bright transparent ruby. Cherries and cherry stone, slightly herbal. Good fruit, medium to high acidity and slightly rustic tannins. Lacks a bit of charm. Not as exciting as their Chardonnay. 2013 vintage, Abv 14,2%.

Nice pinot! Complex nose- strawberry, orange peel, then maple syrup and chai tea, fresh herbs and hot tar. Strawberry jam initially on palate, fruit gives way to baking spices, fennel, and earth. Good structure. Enjoyed with a mushroom stir fry.
