New variety for us. Somewhere between Chianti and Pinot. Floral aromatics and sour cherry/acid on palate. Great, tight structure. Even a little old world leather in there. Very good with crispy skin salmon.

We have been saving this bottle for four years. Today is a special Saturday...I'll come up with a reason after. Rare plavac grape, tastes like a Chianti. Gentle berry taste hits you off the first sip - I'm feeling it now. Mild tannins, and totally unique. Take me back to Croatia on a Havr roadside now!!

High tannins, smells like burnt rubber. Does soften as left out to breathe.
