Very good for a merlot, great with spicy red sauce. "Soft and compliant" is right. Cherry/blackberry. Not too sweet. Dan loved it.

Better than the cab but still un-impressive... While the bouquet is a bit more complex than the cab it's also less acidic but it still lacks complexity.
