A lovely Tosacana Syrah, elegant, spicy, smooth and tempting. A true pleasure, this 11 year old wine has mellowed and shows lots of character and balance. Deep dark purple color, a refined nose of black current, dry leaves, eucalyptus, mint, minerals, truffle and coffee. A full body, elegant and balanced with firm yet round tannins, very pleasant acidity, very precise smooth and long finish. The wine is in its prime and would evolve over the next 3 years. My score 90, drink to 2018
