Olsen Brothers Vineyard Syrah

Unctuous.

This was quite good. Had it with brisket and went very well with the rub. Very impressed with this wine.

Fruit forward, wonderful delicate floral notes, and pretty weighty on the tongue too. A bitchin' bit of green olive (Spanish olives of course), to boot. Yum-tastic!

Dark ruby color with purple highlights. Aromas of black and blue fruit, violets, roasted meat, spices, wet stones and tobacco. Flavors of blackberry, blueberry, black raspberry, roasted herbs, black pepper and black olives. Long and savory finish. Complex and very “Northern Rhône-like.” Full bodied, lively and just the right amount of tannin. Excellent!

Just keeps getting better with air

Medium body and full of life.

Light floral. Yum. Easy wine.

This wine is singing. Love this wine any given year, but this is outstanding.

I think our bottle was bad, super smoky flavor and uncorked but the bottle was 4” below the cork before there was wine. I’d rate it lower but with the high ratings it has, I assume our bottle had an issue. HWT
