Probably my favorite oakville so far. Usually the beckstoffers are a clear notch above, but this has shortened the gap. Not as red fruited as before. Turns out it is a new vineyard : oakville 88 with a little ehrlich. Nice complexity.

Ehleich Vineyard 2012 Oakville. Bramble berry & black cherry with subtle nuances of cocoa bean, violets & exotic spices. Powerfully charged, this Cab showcases seamless tannins & a velvety mid palate, which crescendos toward a seemingly endless finish. Unapologetically bold & beautiful...liquid poetry... mixes well with good company and intimate evenings. 🍷

Forgot about these two, Hard to tell the difference, but edge go’s to the Oakville over the St. Helena . This would be my 2nd wine behind the 15 Kenrfick,both on par with Bevan Ontogeny & Realm Bard 🍟🍟🍟🍟
