Funky, intense unfiltered wine that drank more like a sour beer which was ok as it was paired with a rustic rabbit dish. Really wanted to like this orange wine more but the 2009 was perhaps a bit too oxidated and sherry-like. Apricot and nuts with a sour finish.

2009, Radikon, Slatnik Bianco, Venezia Giulia, Chardonnay/ Tocai Friulano. My first orange wine. Intense flavors of dry fruit and honey. A style of wine that seems to be more about the winemaking vice the varietal characteristics. That being said, I did enjoy drinking it.
