Jakot Bianco Tokai Friulano

11 year old macerated wine. Rich, concentrates, nutty. Glad ilI held onto this and it’s a half bottle so I can enjoy it. Could easily sit in as dessert.

Not normally a big orange wine fan but this rocks. Wines like this make me “get it”. This was paired with smoked trout and pickled daikon, and it worked so much better with the sweet / sour / smoky than any conventional wine. Super complex, super heady, lively, incredible texture

2007. Incredible stuff. Mushrooms. Irn bru. Apricots. Armica. Superglue
