Had this 2 years ago, and thought it was slightly disjointed. And clearly overoaked.
Today it’s showing considerably better than it did back then. Oak is resolving, fruit still standing tall.
Very nice wine, albeit a tad too extracted and overdone for my taste.

Feb 5th, 2017Enormous concentration, blackberry puree, balsam, cinnamon and cloves, ink, paint, some earthy notes too. Still pretty woodsy in the mouth, so this needs some serious integration. Hopefully the fruit survives...
