Notes of violet in red. Cracked black pepper and allspice on the nose. Fresh, juicy, medium body, ripe berries and a bit of salinity. Would buy again.

Shows remarkable purity of Sangiovese grape, subtle but authentic perfume and unmitigated acidities and tannins. Feels somewhat low in mineral definition but has surface to core, inside and out integrity and wholeness. Shows no trace of its natural winemaking and is exquisite, delicate and very fine indeed, makes almost all other Italian wines crude by comparison.

Fantastic! Opened very nicely into a robust but fruity red that stood on its own but also paired well with a rich braised dinner. Bought from Vanderbilt Wine in Brooklyn, NY
