Quite fruit driven to start with black cherry, strawberry and plum fruit. The fruit is wrapped in floral elements and a touch of brown spice. With air the nose expands with black raspberry, mineral notes, allspice and tar. Given the the vintage, the palate is quite lively with black current and black raspberry fruit accented with subtle spice and minerals. Tannins are structured but fruit driven. Has lightness of touch on the fruit and mineral inflected finish. Entering a terrific window for drinking with at least 5 to 7 years of upside.
