A very modern wine for an otherwise traditionally oriented producer. The use of new French oak is obvious but works. The bouquet was very pretty yet powerful with blackberries and something that reminded me a bit of myrrh. On the palate, it was blackberries and baking cocoa. Tannic at this stage. Some age would probably do these wonders.
