Ruby red color. Dried cherries, red currants, and intense aromas of raspberry jam are evident with more subtle earth. Medium bodied and fruity on the palate with round tannins and fresh acidity. Made from 60% Nero d'Avola and 40% Frappato fermented in concrete and aged 12 months in oak. Cerasuolo is Sicily's only DOCG wine currently.

Jul 10th, 2017This is one of the best Italian wines I've had. Absolutely beautiful, balanced, nose is powerful and pallet matches. Bing cherry tart pie with a long finish and a little smoke on the nose
