One of my favorite Italian white wines. White burgundy-esque body with lemon peel notes, elegant dry finish, moderate acidity. Great food wine. Tonight we paired this up with a potato leek and smoked bacon soup and help up perfectly.

Bucci's 2012 Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico is quite round and soft, with gorgeous texture and fabulous overall balance. Lemon peel, Chamomile, white flowers and a hint of tangerine peel add nuance on the inviting, saline-infused finish. (AG)
