Taste not quite as complex as the smell. Finish is medium. Tannins are perfectly centered. This just misses my 94 point threshold.

Jul 11th, 2021Red brick color, mint, tobacco on the nose and on the palate. A bit of chocolate emerging on the palate. Acid and tannins will deliver this wine to another dimension in a few more years. Even now it's top shelf!

Completely shut down for two nights, no aroma or flavor at all. Maybe it needs a few more years in the cellar. But thankfully, on day 3, it opened up and started to express itself. Sweet, smoked cherries and leather, nice body, sticky tannins, and beautiful lift 🥰 😍
