My palette has always had a liking for piedmont terroir. Growing up with homemade Italian wine probably had something to do with it. Dark red fruits. Lighter body, earthy spice and balanced tannins. Nothing wrong with a solid Italian table red.

Pretty bland and higher OH than the 13.5% listed. Just not my type of wine. Too much bite and lacked finesse and depth. The wife liked it so that is great!!
