Bussia Barolo Nebbiolo
Dry rose and violet follow by bitter chocolate, not too much fruit characteristic. Bright acidity and fine firm tannin ...
Like walking down a highway in a hot summer !!!!

My fondness for Silla Sebaste grows with each glass. This is my first Bussia from this producer and it’s approachable on opening and opens up even more over several hours. Pronounced floral and cherry nose. Mouth watering cherry and other dark fruits, spices, and add a little smoke and leather from front to mid palate. The moderate lingering tannins start to take over late palate and dry the mouth through the finish. Wonderful experience with a lot going on.

Jan 18th, 2021"Balanced and comfortable drinking. Wonderful on the nose. Slight rose and floral with mild underlying red berry. Palate was a little more subdued than I expected. Typical light garnet color. Slightly lighter bodied than expected. No issues with the tannins... seems ready to drink now."

Apr 24th, 2013Dates, roasted nuts, & leather on the nose with dried cherries & cola on the palate. Medium plus finish. Far more complex than its price point of $40. Great find for someone wanting a true Barolo at an affordable price.
