Rose and herb aroma, light rose color, cherry flavors, some earthiness, hints of spice, nice acidity, firm tannins. Nice dry finish with fruity and smokey notes. Still very young and could age for bit. Soft, but complex. We decanted and I chilled mine just a bit. Luckily, we have 2 decanters as my husband does not like chilled wine. Paired very well with a bolognese sauce with fresh basil and parmesan.

Listen to the label and let it breathe. It was night and day from first sip to last. As described it goes well with food but was a bit aggressive for me prior to the meal. If you like a dry bold wine you will enjoy this.
