A finesse type wine. With subtle flavors and complexities. Beautiful burgundy color. Aromas of cherries and herbs. Flavors of dried current, cocoa, mushroom and soft earth. Very smooth and silky finish. — 11 years ago
Lovely deep burgundy in the glass. Long legs. A swirl brings aromas of dried currants and cedar. Flavors of dried currants, smoke, leather, and a little vanilla on the finish. Very enjoyable. — 10 years ago
Rose and herb aroma, light rose color, cherry flavors, some earthiness, hints of spice, nice acidity, firm tannins. Nice dry finish with fruity and smokey notes. Still very young and could age for bit. Soft, but complex. We decanted and I chilled mine just a bit. Luckily, we have 2 decanters as my husband does not like chilled wine. Paired very well with a bolognese sauce with fresh basil and parmesan. — 10 years ago
If you don't understand tannin, you will after drinking this wine! Big, BIG mouth-drying tannins. The wine is inky red-purple with aromas of cedar and plum. It's a big flavor wine, but light bodied. An enigma. Flavors of plum, dark fruit jam, and a little pepper spice. I really need another bottle to make a definite opinion. I think this wine will age beautifully and would definitely benefit from aeration if drinking now. Really lovely with an Italian sausage, fennel, and kale pasta bake. — 11 years ago

Inky purple liquid with aromas of blackberry and cedar. Flavors of blackberry, pepper, and some oaky notes. Smooth finish with firm tannins. We really enjoyed with steak with Bernaise sauce. Also paired well with the chocolate truffle I had for dessert. — 10 years ago
