As usual, I am tasting these wines too early...but they have arrived and I am too excited to keep my tastebuds off them! This is showing well but pent up. Loads of blackberries and blueberries with a touch of fennel and toasted pine nuts. Savory and very lightly dry in the lingering finish.

Dec 6th, 2016Still too young to see where this uber pure beauty might end up. Needs at least two more years in the bottle. Maras a cherries, lavender, anise, fresh mushrooms. Very primary but very promising.

2014 Overlook, 1st vintage from 2nd estate site which sits above Holstein & Thistle on a south east facing slope. Floral, pretty. Fruit is young, doesn't hold the oak especially well right now, may never.

Translucent garnet to pink edge. Earthy cherry/raspberries aroma. Nice weight week balance. Persistent flavors of expensive oak and strawberry. Long persistent finish.

Wow! I had no idea Pinot Noir could taste like this - reminds me of the first couple wines I had where the light bulb went off for wine. This is so subtlety powerful and elegant. Nice mix of mushrooms, pine nuts, cherry, and blueberries. We've all heard about Oregon Pinot and I am now a believer.
