This wine has a nice, yellow-gold tint to it. The nose explodes with flowers, then again with fruit, namely citrus. On the palate, lemon notes are bathed in salinity and an herbal note, maybe bell pepper, comes through. The acidity is nice, but it’s not going to rip off your taste buds.

Cool peacock critter label. Lovely golden hue. Smells like tropical and sub-tropical fruits. Passion fruit, pineapple, kiwi, citrus. And apples and pears. Flavors are nice. Supple with some lemon meringue pie and lime peels. Musky too. This is very drinkable stuff. Nice full body.

This is a TJ recommendation from The Reverse Wine Snob. It’s drinkable and I liked it better the 2nd day. But even at $5.50 not sure I’ll buy it again. I have $10 Verdejo and viuras that are pleasing. It’s dry with nice body but I wish it had a little acidity. For a big bbq it would probably sell well on a sunny afternoon.
