Barolo Nebbiolo

Good starter Barolo. Great value at Lidl for $15! Let it breathe a day and you will enjoy it even more...

Didn't air it long enough according to other reviews, but who has time for that!was good but not all that great.

Dark red with a tawney hue, quite opaque, cherry with a tone of oaky notes, has an almost brandy/port finish to it without the sweetness.

Great for a £12.99 Barolo from Lidl!

Nice. Port-like qualities. Good oak and dark fruits. A bit one-dimensional, better as it aired.

My first go at a Barolo and the tannins are all they are worked up to be! Not bad at all but lacking a little of the complexity I expected, I know there are better expressions out there!

Pretty good after 1 - 2 hours getting air. Leave the bottle for min. 2 hours!
