This is the top wine from this estate 75% Sangiovese and the rest is Cabernet Sauvignon this had not been made since 2007 and 2011 is the next release a good amount of fresh plowed earthy very well endowed bouquet with layers of dark coco dried herbs and lots of tannins very well built with layers of everything through the finish needs even more time

To me this wine has always been a bit unusual. It has a distinct raspberry flavor that you don’t typically associate with Sangiovese. Extracted, slathered in new oak. This is my last bottle.
