Blackberry, jam, and oak are our notes. Paired well with tri-tip and it was okay with dark chocolate. Got it on sale at Total Wine. I’d pay $12 for it, I don’t about about $20. I’m guessing this Zin, like others would go well with BBQ.

On sale for $11, which is a steal. Good balance and not overly jammy. Perfect for burgers.

Really boozy, almost hot. Great nose but thin borderline solventy in the mouth.

Feels heavy at the beginning and then smooths out. Crowd pleaser and quickly becoming a staple!

Aggressive, spicy Zin - asserts itself with a bold mature red fruit taste and little zing to complete the glass. A nice holiday turkey pair!

Good for a hearty meal but really more for after, terrific chocolate notes makes me think of pairing with dessert. Very high alcohol, is this a port sailing under the flag of Zin? Wish I had bought more.

Super yummy and mellow. Doesn't taste too jammy and doesn't have that massed produced first taste or smell. Feels like I'm trying it in the tasting room. Slightly spicy and sweet.

Light and fruity Zin. On the nose, blackberry, pomegranate, and heavy alcohol. At first taste, really nice jammy raspberry notes followed by a hint of spice on the back of the throat. Finishes nicely with red pear and sour plum. Overall, not a bad pick for a young wine but it leaves me wanting more depth.
