This perennial favorite is a bit disappointing after some stellar prior vintages. It is a bit too thick of body, a touch too unbalanced in its acidity, a smidgen overmuch residual sugar. This aside, it is still a bargain at its price point. Expect a jammy mix of ripe plum and bright red currant.

A great Napa Cab for the price point! What you'd expect, smooth flavors of blackberry and ripe cherry, plum and a slight chocolate finish with nice acidity and tannins. Not dry but the chocolate is subtle enough to pull away some of the brightness of the fruit in a pleasant way.
