Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

I’m a big fan of Paso and I do believe cab can be made well here. This rendition is slightly past its prime so if you have some drink now.

Nice label, but it stops there! Aromas of simple red fruits and some spices. The palate shows over ripe black plums leaning towards the tart side. Harsh tannins that stay behind. Medium finish ending hot and spicy. Not enjoyable. Pass. Tasting Sample.

Pairs perfectly with a standing rib roast medium rare...yum! Merry Christmas!

Smoke on the scent in this full body wine with a nice finish.

Solid, spicy... love this wine fir an any day go to.

Delicious, oaky

Lovely, deep dark red berries, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, high alcohol, tannic, dry, hint of vanilla. Stellar cab. Stellar year. Stellar region. Cheers!

Had the 2015 Austerity, so oaky and smooth!

Smooth not oaky Can Sauv. Cheap buy but good quality!
