Although aged in bourbon barrels, little of the sweetness or flavor of the bourbon seemed to come through; however, it was a nice solid Cabernet that was a touch stronger and richer than a traditional Cab. Letting it breath is recommended as it was better on day two after having been open for 24-hours.
