Aubert
UV Vineyard Pinot Noir
Last Friday was our normal 4th Friday happy hour at the storage facility, but since this month had 5 Fridays, why not keep the party going?!
Aubert Pinot 😍. Much better after it has warmed up. Black cherry, cola, plum, amazing acidity and a black tea type note. I usually enjoy Aubert wines with a bit of age on them...this wine in 3-5 yrs will be heavenly.

Fabulous New 2012 Aubert Pinot Noir with family! Wow needs air but it is super concentrated loaded with intense berry fruits, great mouth feel. Doesn't get much better. Tried with Steph, Mike, Karen, and yours truly.

After an hour of decanting, the acidity softened & Dam! BIG floral/perfume-nose. Seamless & elegant Pinot. Black currants & bright -cherry, black tea, oak. Mark made just an exceptional wine! Drinking better than the 13's now. I have no problem setting this "particular" wine down another 7/8 years. Enjoy drinking most of my Aubert wines relatively young. I'm excited to have a couple more!

12' Aubert UV- Vineyard Pinot Noir. I've written about this particular wine before. Close to a pop & pour. Sensational bottle of wine ! This wine is drinking flawlessly now, with a short decanting. I generally like my Aubert Pinot's with a little age on them. Pop them now!

Nov 24th, 2016Unanimously voted the WOTN. My first time having Aubert but won't be the last. @David A Lentine thank you so much for sending this to me. Two hour decant brings you a cross between a Burgundian and a Cali PN called Aubert. Glorious nose of fine leather, rose petals and strawberries. Silky on the entire palate, don't be fooled, built solid-offering depth of plum, cherry, tobacco notes and cinnamon. The finish sails, satiny tannins that go on for over a minute. Excellent. Thank you for sharing David. I look forward to our next share!
