Pure mouth-filling wonder! Once again reminded how essential it is to be patient with these beauties...ripe, round, weighty, the wine is inching toward balance between the alcohol, acidity, and oak. Lush notes of pineapple, guava, nectarine, and tea-biscuit give way to waves of lingering finish notes. The wine perfectly lifted fried lobster dumplings in brown butter. Sometimes you just need a lush Chardonnay not from burgundy! Worth every single penny and the effort to find a bottle!
