Valle del Tirso Nieddera Rosé
Medium pink-red. High-pitched, perfumed aromas of red cherry and plum, with a fresh grapefruit quality and a touch of peach. Deep and juicy, with precise red fruit flavors enlivened by harmonious acidity. Finishes long and suave, with impeccable balance, showcasing lingering red fruit and spice notes. Lots of flavor and only 11.5% alcohol. 100% Nieddera. (Ian D'Agata, Vinous, June 2018)

1 person found it helpfulSep 1st, 2013Bright orange-red. Nose full of red berries and some earthy minerality. On the palate guite deep and serious definitely more so than many pale Provence ones. Good refreshing acidity and to me very typical tangy note that I associate with many serious Italian Roses. Needs to be around 10deg as if it gets colder the wine starts to collapse
