Dec 3rd, 2017Now, this is the best Pinot Gris I have ever had. Usually, a very plain varietal , but this one is different.

A very aromatic nose of white flowers, lemons, kiwis, minerals, peaches, guava and wet stones.
Medium Plus in body with medium acidity.
Off-dry on the palate with lemons, citrus, oak, cream, tropical fruits, bananas, pineapples and passion fruit.
Short finish with a great mouth feel and some peaches.
What an awesome wine, made from 100% Pinot Gris grapes grown in the Golan Heights in Israel. Nice and balanced. I enjoyed it by itself. Just great to sip on.
