Unctuous dark fruit, great tannic structure and plenty of tempered acidity. Gotta be one of the better Sonoma bottlings at this price.

Wow... Lots going on here. No red fruits here. Black. Musty. You know when you turn over a log in the woods and you see and smell that mossy, white, soily, stuff... that's the nose and taste of this. Mashed leaves. Ashy. Nice chewy tannins. I bet another 2 years or so in the bottle will perfect the slight bit of ending heat left over. Really really great. One of the best in months for me.

UPDATED: As of 6/13, I've had a few bottles of this and cannot get to 93 points. Need to demote to 91.
