A gorgeous jammy red reminding me of my deeply rooted appreciation for the Okanagan’s rapidly maturing wine industry. The nose is a lovely dark cherry that transitions smoothly into a well balanced palate of more cherries, vanilla, and hints of blackberry and plum on the lingering finish. Really enjoyed this one, will bring more than one bottle back the next time I’m at Arrowleaf Cellars.

This Okanagan wine is made from Merlot and Zweigelt grapes. The nose is rich and complex with notes of dark cherry, dark plum, vanilla and hints of black pepper and sage. The palate is equally rich with a spicy oak finish.
