Just outstanding.
Huge nose of coffee and herbs. Palette is stellar, with integrated tannins. Mouthfeel is velvety and dense, with caramel, cloves and sweet tobacco. This is my fave Italian wine. The reality is that this wine needs 10 years before approach, then you will see it at its best.
