Deep purple in color with a wide reddish rim.

Strong nose of red and black fruits with chocolate notes, tobacco and spices.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with tart cherries, raspberries, blueberries, light wood, earth, herbs, spices, light tobacco, dark chocolates and peppercorn.

Short finish with fine grained tannins and tangy pomegranates.

This is a very interesting Tempranillo from Arizona. Very Spicy and tangy. Rich and fruit forward.

Showing mild complexity, and might need a few more years in the bottle to mature.

I gave it 90 minutes to open up in the decanter. The high alcohol is well integrated, so watch out.

A good food wine that will pair nicely with red sauce dishes.

100% Tempranillo grapes were aged in neutral oak barrels for 29 months. A small production of less than 3,000 bottles.

16% alcohol by volume.

90 points.

$50.
