Fruity on the nose with black plums, black currant, cooked cherries, spices, light wood, licorice, tobacco, dark chocolates and peppercorn.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, light vanilla, spices, dark chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, earth and tobacco leaf.
Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a very nice Graciano from Arizona.
Showing nice complexity at this point. Tangy, fruit forward and interesting. Nicely balanced with a nice mouthfeel.
I had the 2018 a year ago, and this 2019 is so much better.
Good by itself as a sipping wine. The high alcohol is not apparent at all, so you better watch out.
I gave it an hour in a decanter to open up properly.
Paired very nicely with Italian Meats.
