Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, currants, plums, fresh cherries, light oak, spices, chocolates, tobacco, bitter herbs, earth and peppercorn.
Medium length on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.
This is a tasty Graciano from Arizona. Very spicy and rich.
Fruit forward and elegant. Smooth and soft. Showing nice complexity with a soft mouthfeel.
Needed 2 hours to open up properly, so be patient. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years and see how it evolves. The high alcohol is not too noticeable.
A good food wine, tangy and interesting.
100% Graciano grapes were aged in neutral oak barrels for 15 months. A small production of only 2,700 bottles.
