Medium plus in length on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young Cabernet Franc from Arizona needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly, but already drinking nicely now, even by itself. A good quality wine.
Fruit forward with lots of green vegetables and earth notes. Feels like a fruity old world Cabernet Franc.
Already showing nice complexity, and would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.

This is a very interesting Cabernet Franc from New Mexico. Rich and elegant.
Good right out of the bottle, and gets earthier as it opens up, with more bitter vegetable notes.
Still young and needs a few more years in the bottle to mature. Would be nice to revisit it in 3 years.
Good by itself as a sipping wine. Nicely balanced, soft and smooth.
Aged in (25% new) French Oak barrels for 29 months.
