The color on this is dark and ink-like going in the glass (I literally said “wow” outloud as I was pouring it). The nose is intense with dark fruit and eucalyptus. You’re hit with sweet fruit upfront but there’s a ton of spice and florals as well - blackberry with a touch of savory olive/game but this is a predominately fruit-driven Syrah (which is what I go for). I’ve had several Argot wines in the past and each one has blown me away - definitely worth seeking out if you like big wines.

Teeth staining, black fruited goodness. Fantastic Syrah perfectly suited for burger night. 1-1.5 hour decant recommended.

Fantastic Syrah. Fruit forward but elegant. Dark fruit. Full bodied for a Syrah. Drank without but would hold up well with food.
