Cabernet Sauvignon

Random find in the cellar. Nothing special but still fun to discover something new.

Great fruit and earth. Very smooth

So sad that this winery is no longer around. Thankful that I still have more goodies from them in the cellar to enjoy in the future.

Opening for short ribs. Dark. Inky. Sticks to your innards. Definite oak and leather. Strong but mellowed with a good decanting. Paired well with the fatty ribs and sauce using the wine.

Really solid. Lots of earthy notes. Developing nicely. Thankfully have a couple left.

Dry as dirt

A muscular, brooding cab with dark powerful flavors, cassis, leather, tobacco and still stiff tannin. A delicious boutique winery with Atlas Peak fruit... What a gem! This big boy is good now but would definitely benefit from another 5 years of cellaring. Glad I have several more in the cellar!

One from a friend of mine dr Arger who no longer makes this particular wine but glad we bought saved a bunch of bottles👍🏾
