From a winemaker who excels in making ageable wine this is a real stunner. Full of secondary characteristics, but still retaining it’s fruit on the mid palate. Earthy, green olive, meaty mushroom followed by raspberry and plum.

Feb 11th, 2018Pretty and well- delineated Syrah made by someone with a gift for Pinot Noir. Stylistically subtle, a good benchmark both for this biodynamic vineyard and for the winemaker.

2005 vintage. Surprisingly wound up on day 1 for a 10 year old wine. Better on day 2.

Nice wine. Drank with filet. Blackberry flavors with some old world earthiness to it. Solid wine, but not worth the ~$45 I spent.
