Wine amazing- food amazing- together : ugh. I wanted to use the last of our fresh tomatoes. They were fantastic. This wine is fantastic on its own. No need for food; or At least Italian. Poor pairing on my part. The nuance of this wine needs no help.

2010 had its challenges, she held up just fine.

Love 777. This 07 presents superbly right now. Great acidity, full palate for a cool vintage. Lovely nose which evolved with some oxidation. So pleased I found this gem in the stash.

One of my favorite Oregon Pinots of all time. Grapes are a Dijon clone all grown on the estate in plot 777.

I thought this was OK, but not a a serious Pinot fan. One of the guys drinking with me is, and he was disappointed. Not a respectable finish.
