Tried after the 2011 and 2012 (hadn't been thrilled) and really relieved. Maybe those just need time because the 2008 is bonkers. Fruit is still very present but it's the silky, rich finish that does it for me. Evolves so nicely on the palate. Tobacco and charcoal on the nose.
