Corsini Barbaresco Nebbiolo
Raspberry, cherry, almond, menthol. Intense nose. This is a very dry and lean palate with strong acids, little red fruit on the sides, a good grip and some width, some dry tannins before a long finish with Raspberry, cherry notes, a touch of almond a delicate bitterness. Good not great but showing better than the last time I had it a year ago

Mar 13th, 2020On second try a little too acidic - still classic tart fruit, floral and oak notes to be expect - but not as well as balanced as expected from the type

Dec 24th, 2019A good pedestrian Italian table red: light on the palette but with a satisfying mouth feel. Subdued notes with a bit of a kick towards the end - this won’t knock your socks off but still a good glass to enjoy on a weeknight kind of pour.

Dec 6th, 2019Almond and red tart berries on the nose. Strong acid backbone with tart cherries and berries all along. A silky layer as mouthfeel tends to stabilize and balance the strong acid backbone and tanginess of red fruits. Rather long finish with again some almond, menthol somehow and those tangy red berries too. Well defined, interesting but I expect more from this appellation / grape. Not much pleasure right now cause it's a bit unbalanced towards acid.
