Seleccion Especial Garnacha

I brought this wine back with me on my Madrid trip. Very oaky cherry and alcohol on the nose upon immediate opening. Heavy on the tight tannins. Will reevaluate after the recommended half hour.... after the 30 minutes, the tannins have silkified. The fruit is smooth, and soft. The wine is balanced and light across the experience. Nice tapas wine. Definitely take the winemaker advice and give a solid 30 to breathe. Cheers!

Warm nose of strawberry, licorice and yes a tad of warmth coming from alcohol. The palate is pretty well balanced with said strawberry playing along a strong acid backbone. Long finish with fruits and some warmth again. Very powerful yet a tad monolithic wine. Could be better after some air or a couple of more years.

Really nice red with a good price, so we consider this one a "house wine"...great for everyday, but not special enough for a special occasion.

Aroma muy intenso con fondo de frutas rojas y entrada con paso en boca graso con final a pasteleria muy complejo. Para mi algo fuera de los comun. Muy original. Muy rico. Vinazo. 8€

Dry, vet dry, dry ... It is all what I remember after party.
