Amoenus Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

I understand why some people really will love this; I am not one of those people. Still, it’s well-made for its style: plenty of rich black fruits, so much sweetness on the nose, and a flash of green on the palate.

Top notch and very young 2013 cab from napa. Almost numbing tannins, silky mouthfeel, dark / dense / concentrated. Highly recommend, drink now for another 20 years.

Too much green characteristics for me. High tannins, bitter, sour cherries.

Needs at least a couple hours decant, but after that a pretty solid Cabernet.

Quite savory with lots of herbs and meaty notes. The fruit is present, but definitely in the background. A bit reductive, so a long decant should help. I'll save some for tomorrow and see how it develops.

Very nice Cabernet. Plum, blackberry, and sweet tobacco. Lovely structure and balance. Another winner, @Robin Akhurst!

I normally enjoy young Napa cab, but I could hardly rate this. It is so tight there is nothing there to taste. Needs years/hours in the decanter. Good guts though. Rated on potential
