"Less fruity than the regular Apothic red. Deep dark cherry flavors. Nice palatable finish." Says one of my customers. $8 / 78pts

The fruit blend was interesting and smooth. The part though that deterred me with this wine was the chocolate aftertaste. It stuck in my mouth and throat and I felt like I needed something to wash it down with. Will not be buying again.

This is a hard one to rate. The varied tastes of the berries followed by the coffee and dark chocolate notes really came through. Had it just been the berries, it would have been perfect. I didn't like the coffee and dark chocolate. I felt a bit queexy with the chocolatey after taste and it stuck for a very long time. Interesting but I'll stick with Apothic Red.

The 2012 is EXTREMELY better than the 2013!!! No clue what Apothic did, maybe in mass production they lost the quality, but glad I saved a few bottles from last year to compare!!!!
