At first it was very tannic, kind of harsh, and very fruit forward. Then after I let it breath for 30 mins the smooth, rich, milk chocolate flavors emerged from this wine. I think a few more years in the bottle will do this young wine well. If you chose this wine I say let it breath after uncorking or let it settle in the cellar for a few years.

Omg. I think packets of cherry and grape koolaide was added. Omg. I can't even begin to say how bad bad bad this wine is. I don't even think I can drink a whole glass. Sorry Apothic, epic fail.

I could pick up vanilla and caramel, but it tasted artificial to me. I will finish the bottle, but will not drink again.

Sweet and syrupy for a red, with underlying pepper, mass-market chocolate, and over-ripe fruit. About as sophisticated as a hammer, but not altogether awful. Had it paired with wild mushroom soup, beef tenderloin and grilled lobster tails.

Grape juice with some alcohol mixed in. Synthetic-tasting, while lacking any real good points. An overly sweet alcoholic Kool-aid for the masses. Save your money.

In a blind tasting this just happen to be our final wine out of 3. With Carmel notes it made it a nice wine to finish with.

Kinda strong, in the not so good areas. A bit of dark fruit and some chocolate, but not too pleasing. A bit astringent and alcoholic. 2013 vintage

Thought the Limited release would be better than the original. Costs much more... But doesn't taste any better. Grape Juice!
