Despite the low ratings I loved this Mercurey, Chardonnay. I do not know if I would pay more than $15 but it would compliment ravioli or salmon radically. It is smoother with about 8 months of oak and the rest of the time aging in the vats where it grows in character and developed notes of lemon, pepper and hazelnut.
