Antonin Rodet
Chateau de Mercey Mercurey Pinot Noir
Antonin rodet 2011 chateau de mercey, mercurey. Bought at cellar door in 2016 and drunk in 2017. Worth noting it is one of the most accommodating cellar doors in burgundy. For one of the entry level wines this is very good value. Buttery colour and some fried butter on the bouquet. Unsurprisingly a lightly buttery taste but with good lemony acidity which makes it refreshing and can cut through oily fish with a nice mouthfeel. For an every day drinking wine this comes highly recommended
